Due to limited availability of the Ertiga, Suzuki dealerships in Indonesia are growing impatient. A main dealer in Indonesia was quoted by a local website stating the 150 units allocated to him in a month was insufficient and demand easily beats out the supply.

Dealers have placed their request to increase production, but Suzuki is yet to come back to them with a revised plan. The Ertiga is exported from India with a 1.4L petrol engine in three trims.

It maybe an understatement to say that Maruti and Suzuki didn't foresee the impact this car will have on the market. The Swift-based MPV has clocked over 30k bookings in India and over 12k bookings were registered in Indonesia in a month.

The Indonesian dealer in the Riau Province is concerned about not being able to deliver cars to customers within an acceptable waiting period.
