To make sure that it doesn't look cheap, Skoda has not cut down on the chrome content on the Skoda Superb Ambition. Interiors are perhaps the best in class with ivory nappa leather seats that are 12-way adjustable with memory function. The Ambition variant caters to the chauffeur-driven segment, and has a sun blind for the rear seat passenger.
There's dual zone air-conditioning and a rear AC vent with independent controls. An 8-speaker sound system provides entertainment but if you are not a back seat customer, there's still reason why you should book the Superb.
Skoda offers the 1.8TSI variant producing 160hp with a 6-speed manual and the 2-liter TDI with a 6-speed DSG. The petrol variant is priced at 18 lakhs while the predictably better selling diesel variant is priced at 22.5 lakhs (prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi). For Maharashtra the petrol retails at 17,66,232 rupees while the diesel sets you back by 22,07,727 rupees (ex-showroom prices).
