TeamFiat.co.in member "clash81" has posted an image of a camouflaged Mahindra Verito spotted on the outer ring road in Bangalore. For our new overseas readers this is a Dacia/Renault Logan. The Renault Logan hatched into a Mahindra after the Mahindra-Renault joint venture perished. The companies work on a royalty basis, but Mahindra is not allowed to sell the vehicle outside India.

We're unable to identify whether the model is indeed the sub-4 meter Verito Mahindra' announced for a release in late 2012 or early 2013. We don't see a point in running a camouflaged Verito unless you are testing new body panels or plastic fittings.

From what we can see the tail lights sport the same design but the number plate position could be positioned on the boot lid (instead of using the bumper). The Etios-esque chrome embellishment has disappeared on this test mule. A reflector strip is placed on the right corner of the bumper. These findings lead us to believe that the rear fascia has not been carried forward from the normal Verito.

We're not completely convinced that this is the sub-4 meter Verito so we'll wait for our Bangalore readers to spot this car in daylight to reach a conclusion.
