Honda launched the Exclusive Edition of the CR-V last weekend in Italy to say goodbye to the hugely successful model with prices starting from 22,900 euros (Rs. 15.12 lakhs). This is the last chance for the current gen CR-V lover to get one. The unveiling of the all new CR-V at the Geneva Motor Show early next month has pushed Honda worldwide to sell off the stock of the current version through attractive offers and special editions.

Officials at Honda claim that the CR-V Exclusive Edition will share some premium equipment from the Elegance trim making it much more desirable than the standard version.

The CR-V will be offered with two engine options i.e. a 2.0 i-VTEC petrol churning out 150bhp horsepower and a peak torque of 192Nm and a 2.2 i-DTEC common rail diesel engine developing an identical 150BHP horsepower and 350Nm of peak torque.

Honda has tuned both the engines for better fuel economy, reducing CO2 emissions and both manual and automatic transmissions will be on offer. The Exclusive Edition shares features with the Elegance trim, such as power windows, automatic climate control, Alcantara steering wheel and leather gear shift knob, internal fabric, driver assistance, CD/MP3 stereo with steering wheel controls, tinted glasses, heated mirrors, and 17 inch alloy wheels.

Prices for the petrol version starts at 22,900 euros (Rs. 15.12 lakhs) and for the diesel at 28,950 euros (Rs. 19.12 lakhs).
