Video: Take a good look at the Audi Q3

Kaustubh Shinde, They say sooner or later your passion finds you. Sometime in late 2009, I started writing for IAB and ever since then it has been a roller coaster ride for me. An amazing experience that has taught me a lot, taken me to new places, driven some great cars and met some amazing people. When you don't find me on IAB (very rarely), you will find me either at a coffee shop or an eatery or at the nearest gadget store. Hope you enjoy IAB as much as we do!

The BMW X1 killer is finally out of the bag. Unveiled at Shanghai Motor Show, the Audi Q3 is the first rival to the BMW X1. The BMW X1 opened up a whole new segment for the masses by pricing a premium brand within the reach of many commoners. This Audi intends to compete in this fast growing segment with their baby crossover.

The appetite for crossovers is increasing rapidly in Europe and even so in America. Rumor has it that BMW is working on two more crossovers while Mercedes Benz is interested in exploring the option of a low-cost FWD crossover on the MFA.

In order to grab the attention of the masses, the Q3 need to be priced right. Perhaps on par with the BMW X1 or may be undercut it. Audi is expected to launch to Q3 very soon in the Indian Market, perhaps we will see it debut at the Auto Expo next year. But in the mean time, have a look at these videos which explain a few facets of the Q3
