Steps adopted for weight reduction -

Weight reduction being one of our main aims, Team RESONANCE has set a target of 320 kgs (inclusive of driver). To achieve this, we have used alloy material for the chassis, smaller and less heavy tyres.  We have also drilled holes on parts after analysis, thus achieving effective working without reducing strength or increasing stresses.

Our vehicle is designed to catch the eye of any person, concentrating much on aesthetics and ergonomics,
we are very happy to present a light weight, sturdy, great looking and fun to drive buggy.

Sponsor Details -

Team RESONANCE is proud to be sponsored by FIAT India Pvt Ltd.  Safety Equipment and Team apparels are sponsored by Pierburg India. (Hmm..sounds heavy! If Fiat's doing the honors for this team, there's much to look forward to!)

Message to other SAE Baja 2009 contestants -

Being our first time, we do not want to judge ourselves or others, we want to be judged by eminent personalities and we are confident of making a mark in the event. For other teams, we wish them all the best, luck and hope we do get some tough competition.

WE ARE WINNERS NOT BY CHANCE NOR BY CHOICE, BUT BY BIRTH !!!

IAB Comment- Looks like these guys are fired up and up for the grabs. Going by the pictures they have sent, their vehicle looks like a building's water lines, but that's just work in progress, you see. IAB believes the final product is going to look and go colossal if their write up is anything to go by.

We wish Resonance from Univ of Pune all the very best for the competition. Needless to say once again, but thank you so so so very much for participating on Indian Autos Blog!
