Suzuki Swift 3-door special edition launched in U.K

The Suzuki Swift is one of the world's most preferred hatchbacks. Having sold well over a million units worldwide, Suzuki is looking to keep the water warm by releasing special editions in countries where it has established itself. A few weeks back, China recieved a refreshed Swift with new colors and seats, and it's UK's turn now and it's not just stickers and new bumpers.

500 units of the fully loaded Swift 3-door version will be made specially for the U.K market. The car will cost 10k U.K Pounds, but the package looks attractive. You get 2 doors lesser, but the ABS, EBD and 6 Airbags along with the new rear spoiler and alloys will more than make up for it.

Keyless start features for the first time and heated doors and windows are also features in this tempting package. I remember Suzuki releasing a 3-door special edition Zen quite a long time back. Will they do it again with the Swift? Maybe.

Following a resounding success in 2007, the special edition three-door Swift Attitude model is back on sale in the UK, limited to only 500 units, and equipped with a higher specification, providing an enhanced driving and ownership experience.

For the first-time, the new fully-loaded Attitude receives air conditioning, and driver and passenger sports seats, which until now, have only been available in the high performance flagship Swift Sport model, thereby ensuring a superior level of comfort. Keyless start also makes a debut, with electric windows and heated door mirrors included as standard. The stylish interior follows a silver effect theme, which is complemented by a silver-stitched leather-covered steering wheel.

Other head-turning features which continue to give the Swift Attitude a pronounced and notable presence on the road include body-coloured bumpers and rear roof spoiler, tinted windows, 17-inch alloy wheels, chrome-covered tailpipe, and halogen headlamps.

Power comes from a 16 valve 1.3 litre engine, delivering performance which is ideal for city driving to longer journeys. Safety equally remains paramount with the Attitude equipped with six airbags and ABS with EBD as standard.

The Swift Attitude is on sale now, priced at £9,999 on the road.
