Tata Super Ace Overview

The Super Ace is an India-made one-tonne mini-truck that took off in 2009 in the domestic market and the international market. It is based on the highly successful mini-truck of Tata Motors, the Tata Ace.

After the launch of the Tata Ace, the new segment for minitruck in India was created, attracting many three-wheel owners that wanted to upgrade to a four-wheeler. This highly successful truck is the firstborn model of the Ace series. After the Super Ace, Tata Motors has launched other successors of this truck – Super Ace and Ace Zip. In addition, the home-grown car manufacturer also introduced a passenger variant of the Ace and Zip, which is called the Magic. While it is still on sale in several markets across the globe, the Super Ace was discontinued in our market in 2019. However, the production of this truck is still going on at Tata’s Pantnagar plant.
