Japanese Auto Major Honda has not had the best of time in the past few months. Thanks to a sharp drop in global sales and the frustrating economic slump, Honda had to call it a day on it’s supercar project and painfully had to pull the Formula 1 plug.

So what does one do to get out of this mess? Naturally build cars that will sell in larger numbers and will have a wider reach. Honda earlier announced that it will make an entry level car for India, but that was just about what it said.

Hyundai i10 is the most popular car in Germany

It has been named the “Most beloved light vehicle” of November by German consumers and for the first time, a Korean vehicle secured the top rank. In Italy, Chevrolet has unveiled the LPG-powered Matiz (Spark) which comes with a choice of two engine options-the 4-cylinder of 995 cc 65 hp engine which is available in India, and the 3-cylinder 796 cc 51 hp, which was used on the Daewoo version in India. Honda plans sub-1000cc car for India

Honda Siel Cars India Ltd is looking to launch an under 1L engined small car after launching its Jazz. The ‘mystery car’ will come out of its Rajasthan facility within the next three years.
