Cayenne Diesel’s Indian Coming- On Porsche’s Decision table

Porsche has revealed that it is planning to introduce its new Diesel variant of its sports utility vehicle Cayenne to India.

The new Porsche Cayenne Diesel is not likely to come anytime soon to the Middle East and Asia, but talks are underway with the Germany’s Porsche executive panel to attempt to secure the vehicle for India, Porsche said in a statement.

Porsche has already begun the production of Cayenne Diesel at Leipzig in Germany and would be initially available in only selected European markets from February 2009.

* The Cayenne diesel will come with a powerful 3-litre V6 Turbo diesel engine with power of 240 Bhp (176 kW) and a peak torque of 550Nm.
* Engine is provided by subsidiary company Audi AG.
* The Cayenne diesel uses 9.3 liters Diesel per 100 kilometers and its CO2 emissions are 244 Grams/Km. Average mileage is 10.7 Kmpl. (Comparable to any fuel efficient SUV!)

Mercedes-Benz AMG Range- Now in India!

Mercedes-Benz India presented its AMG range of performance cars in India at the DLF Golf and Country Club, Gurgaon. The mean machines from the Mercedes-AMG range have made their mark on and off the racing circuits worldwide and are now (surprisingly in these troubled times of recession) making their appearance in the Indian market, just the way we predicted its December coming.

Hindustan Motors, as we all know, is one of India’s most famous automobile companies – they brought us never aging versions of the Ambassador, later the Contessa and then collaboration with Mitsubushi. Look at what they have just launched – why, its the HM Shifeng Winner ! Hurray! Just what we had been expecting for a long time! ;)

Fiat Linea Commences Production For December Launch

Linea is a C plus segment sedan, was launched internationally in May 2007 in Istanbul, after which it met with great success in all markets worldwide. An elegantly functional car, with a strong Italian imprint, it will be equipped with features found in higher segment cars.
