Renault might bring Sandero hatchback to India in 2010

The French carmaker, Renault in collaboration with Indian UV maker Mahindra is planning to launch the Sandero hatchback in the Indian market by the year 2010. The plan will help both companies to make use of the full capacity at the Nashik plant, as Logan sales are drowning in India.

Mahindra Renault refuses to supply Logan to Mumbai taxi drivers

Mahindra Renault Logan- when you think of this name, space, space and more space comes to your mind- Why, it’s India’s firse wide body car.

Mumbai Taxi driver’s association were looking to replace their fleet which presently boasts of decade old cars like the black-yellow Premier Padmini which can’t serve as taxis in 21st century any more. They thought the Mahindra Renault Logan was an excellent alternative. It’s got a large boot, the best shoulder and leg room for five adults and a frugal diesel engine.

Renault Logan Sport Version- Wow!

OK. Don’t get very excited as this car ain’t for India. It’s the Logan Sport which will be sold in Brazil. The car it seems will have no changes to it’s mechanicals and the differences are purely on its skin. The Logan Sport gets a ‘sporty’ yellow paint with black decals running alongside its doors. Mahindra launches ‘New Collection Logan’

Renault Logan to be exported to South Africa

The McDonalds of cars, which after having exceeded everyone’s expectation in India, is gearing up to go overseas. Motoring.co.za reports that the Renault Logan will be introduced in South Africa, and all of them will be shipped from Mahindra’s plant in India!
