Land Rovers are the last thing on the list of “Green things” on the Earth. They are everything but green- They are big, they are heavy and use engines of humongous sizes and appalling fuel efficiency.
But all that is about to change. Land Rover which is now a part of Tata Group, will be offered 27 million pounds by the U.K government if it decides to proceed with a green car project based on the Land Rover LRX.
The Land Rover LRX, shown at the Detroit show last year, is a concept and the smallest and lightest of Land Rovers.
