Spied – Ferrari F450 with new diffuser

Now that the production of the F430 is over, Ferrari can fully focus on the replacement car, the Ferrari F450, which is expected to debut this fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The newest set of shots confirms the presence of a diffuser. The Ferrari F450 will be laid out on a wider track.

The F450 will make use of a modified F430’s chassis and body. Codenamed F142, the 4.5-liter V8 engine that produces 585 horsepower, which is more than the outgoing car. Power transfer is performed through the open-top California’s double-clutch gearbox.

Rendering – Ferrari Enzo Part-II?

Rendering – Ferrari Enzo Part-II?

Ferrari is often criticized for producing only 400 units of the Enzo, a supercar capable of acceleration figures of a Formula 1 car. Adding to that, critics claimed that those 400 were sold to the wrong kind of people; those who never appreciated the engineering that went into making the Enzo.

Perhaps, Ferrari is really considering a new Enzo type hypercar like this one to silence the critics. After all, it is about time Ferrari came up with a hypercar in the lines of the Enzo (which is 7 years old already!).

Succeeding the Enzo, Ferrari has launched many cars including three FXX versions, the new one will quite predictably be more advanced than all of them.

Kimi arrived at the show along with many members of his racing team to pull the satin off the sky blue Ferrari California for the Asian continent. Kimi was also joined by the top-level management of the Italian company and even spoke a few words in English which understandably has not been recorded in the press release.

Ferrari is present in China with a solid plan. With no less than ten dealerships and a on-road strength of 500 cars in its five year trading tenure, we’ve stopped wondering why they’ve made the effort to unveil it there.
