The Young Portuguese Soccer star and Manchester United FC player Cristiano Ronaldo crashed his Red Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano into a roadside barrier inside a tunnel just outside Manchester Airport, United Kingdom. A source close to his family told Portuguese newspaper Corrieo da Manha: “He said the crash was caused by moisture and oil on the road.”
The Chevrolet Cruze viz. one of GM’s world cars, and will see production in several parts of the globe in 2009, including India . SAIC-GM (a Chinese collaboration) has started the production of the Cruze in its Shenyang factory, with the first fully assembled test model rolling off the line. GM showed off the first production model to the Chinese press, with reportedly many from the GM management on site to celebrate the first models production.
Ferrari will soon sport an Indian touch. While motor sports has been on a crash course for the past few days – with Honda pulling out of Formula One and Suzuki and Subaru exiting the World Rally Championship, in a trend reversal of sorts, Indian corporate giant Tata has widened the scope of its agreement with Ferrari for F1.
Chevrolet’s European division has confirmed that the upcoming Chevrolet Cruze’s debut in the European market will remain as per schedule. Its expected to make its European debut in April 09. The company expects to sell about 20,000 to 25,000 units in first year after its launch.
