The Chevrolet Cruze scored a maximum 5 stars in the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) making it Australia’s safest car. Electronic stability control, traction control, ABS, brake assist, electronic brakeforce distribution, six airbags, seatbelt reminders and pretensioners with load limiters are standard on the Australian Cruze sold with the Holden badge.

The Suzuki SX4 has been put through the barrier at the recently concluded IIHS crash tests and Suzuki will be happy with the overall result.
The SX4 was given the highest possible “Good” rating in the side crash test. However the outcome was not all that great in the seat/head restraint testing.
