BMW India has just launched the M5 at 95.9 lakh rupees (ex-showroom) at the Auto Expo which can now be ordered as a CBU (completely built up unit) at BMW dealerships across the country. The fifth generation of the world’s most successful high-performance sedan is powered by a 4.4 litre V8 engine with M TwinPower technology producing maximum output of 560 hp.

The new BMW M5 sprints from 0-100 kmph in 4.4 seconds and breaks the 200 kmph barrier in 13 seconds with a top speed limited to 250 km/h.

BMW also showcased the Vision ConnectedDrive concept that showcases driver assistance and networked driving technologies.

Official – BMW to launch MINI brand, M5 at Auto Expo

BMW officially introduces the MINI brand in India on the 5th of January at Delhi Auto Expo 2012. The three models that are going to be launched MINI, MINI Convertible and MINI Countryman will be on view at the ‘MINI pavilion.’

At the BMW stand models continue to tumble with the launch of the M5, unveiling of the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive concept study the presentation of the limited-edition BMW Individual 7 Series Composition inspired by piano manufacturer Steinway & Sons.

Japan’s Y-Factory tunes the BMW M5
