The 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class as you must know by now, is Mercedes Benz’s next and most talked about car. It will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show this year and the original plan was to display the car to the public for the first time in Geneva lacking any camouflage.

Mercedes Benz has revealed that it will institute the Attention Assist system on it’s E-Class sedans as a standard feature starting 2009. The Attention Assist system warns the driver if it detects that he’s feeling drowsy.

Talking of Christmas gifts, check what Mercedes Benz has got itself! The have just manufactured the 1,500,000th E-Class! That’s quite an accomplishment for a car that has faced stiff competition from the BMW 5 series and the Audi A6 for all these years.

The E has sold a total of 1,500,000 where the Sedan version has contributed to as much as 1,270,000 while 230,000 is contributed by the estate version in just six years time!

This is another monster from German carmaker - Mercedes Benz’s Stable, called Mercedes Benz S-class ‘Kahn’. Tempered with a delicate red stripe this car bestows an air of serene detachment toward the Mercedes S Class. As part of a unique agreement with German tuning legends Lorinser; Project Kahn will also provide the intricate detail and full bespoke leather interior for the Mercedes S Class. The German based company will provide body styling parts.

The Mercedes Benz E-Class has maintained itself to be the best bet above the ‘C’ and a brilliant alternative to the ultimate ‘S’. So the new one makes the S class redundant is what you might be thinking about this large cossetting piece of metal.

Mercedes-Benz India presented its AMG range of performance cars in India at the DLF Golf and Country Club, Gurgaon. The mean machines from the Mercedes-AMG range have made their mark on and off the racing circuits worldwide and are now (surprisingly in these troubled times of recession) making their appearance in the Indian market, just the way we predicted its December coming.

The launch of the Facelifted 2009 Mercedes S-Class may be just a few months away, but that does’nt stop the German car giant from making a new S-Class model for 2010 ! Rivalry the way we see it, it just hotting up between the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7-Series.
