Since the time the new BMW 3 Series was spotted on the Mumbai docks, we are getting impatient to drive it on the Indian roads. In terms of design, the new BMW 3 Series is as radical as the as it could have ever been. BMW claims that the it has also managed to improve performance and efficiency figures making it a complete package.

While we try to get our hands on the new 3 Series, why don’t you have a look at the latest 3 series commercial released by BMW. Brownie points for guessing the song played during ad. This ad comes as buzz around this year’s London Olympics picks up.

We’ve been treated to interesting advertising concepts from Mahindra over the last few years. In 2010 they took a dig at the Tata Ace and used an AutoBot character to market the Maxximo as an advanced and sophisticated goods carrier. The background music, visuals of the Scorpio bashing the sand dunes and the stylish characters in the Scorpio’s “nothing else will do” ad broadcasted a high-energy and ambitious product.

Another recent example we liked was of the new Mahindra Bolero with a trained dog in the lead role. It was a good attempt to mix humor and tell viewers the kind of person they’d want to see buy their product.

You’d have to be the Almighty’s most favorite child and the world’s most passionate petrolhead to come back the next birth to continue using your car. You need to have these two requisites to be considered for a re-entry.

Volkswagen India believes that this is possible and gives the Parsi community something to cheer about in its new commercial that we recommend you watch right now!

Even if the new Bolero’s TV spot does not cast a muscle-flexing or skin-flaunting celebrity, its definitely worth watching for the canine that serves its master very loyally!

Have you seen this 2012 Honda CR-V commercial?

Although, Honda Siel is not interested in discussing about the 2012 Honda CR-V’s Indian launch, we are pretty sure that it is coming next year through the CKD route (duh!).

But Honda has already launched the new CR-V in USA with a lot of enthusiasm and marketing dollars. In this commercial, they are promoting a new concept called a ‘Leap-List’.

Don’t know what it is? Have a look to find out!

Have you seen this new VW Up! commercial?

VW commercial always tickle your funny bone whether they are made in India or abroad. The company is known to push the boundaries of creativity (and sometimes beyond) with their advertisements. In this new VW Up! commercial the company is mocking all things that are BIG.

The Up!, though taller than the Polo, is the smallest car in the VW portfolio. Clearly, the advert goes to great length to explain how small is the new big. Have a look.

Any responsible husband will tell you that family comes first. In extreme cases the exotic curling up in his garage could rate equally to a loved one. Manufacturers are quick to sense this commonly observed weakness in the car-loving man to showcase its product as one they will brag about and get mesmerized in even in the most sensitive situations.

In certain times it leads to a good laugh, but we’re certain the latest Volkswagen Passat (NMS) commercial has not amused every Canadian resident.

Watch the commercial and tell us if Volkswagen has crossed the line. Does Volkswagen mean to say the NMS driver is irresponsible like he’s shown in reel life?

It is no secret that Volkswagen fills the deep void below the Polo using the Up! unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show two months ago. The VW Up! needs a diesel engine before it can flood Indian roads.

Another imperative requirement is four fully functional doors that allow access to the cabin. The production models showcased had two (plus one for the boot). The Cross Up! concept had five doors but no one had seen a production-ready version with extra doors, until now!

Volkswagen is featuring the five door variant on commercials and promotions. The video provides a glimpse of the model in question, expected in India in the next couple of years.
