The Tata Tigor Buzz is based on the XE grade of the compact sedan.

The Tata Tigor Buzz is based on the entry-level XE grade. It features Berry Red highlights on the radiator grille, contrasting black exterior mirrors, dual-tone wheel covers with red accent, contrasting black roof and BUZZ badge on the tailgate.

Tata Motors has spruced up the interior too, with features like piano black trim inserts on the steering wheel, centre console, AC vents and door handles, red AC vent surrounds and patterned seat fabric. The Tigor Buzz features the entry-level ConnectNext infotainment system, which is unavailable in the Tata Tigor XE. Overall, the treatment is quite similar to the one given to the limited-edition Tata Tiago Wizz that was launched in September last year.

The Tata Tigor Buzz has no mechanical changes from the regular Tigor. Both have the same specifications. The special edition model will be offered with the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engines.

The petrol engine is a naturally aspirated three-cylinder unit that produces 85 PS at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The diesel engine is a turbocharged three-cylinder unit that develops 70 PS at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 1,800-3,000 rpm. Both are linked to a 5-speed manual transmission. There’s no AMT option in the Tata Tigor Buzz.
