The Smart Key Band is likely a feature similar to the recently launched Tata Nexon AMT’s wearable PEPS Key.

The Smart Key Band is a wearable similar to the recently launched Tata Nexon AMT’s wearable PEPS Key. It would allow the driver to use the SUV’s key as a wristband and easily unlock the doors. The 2018 Hyundai Creta will feature 6-way power driver’s seat as well. Two more convenience features arriving with the MY2018 update are a ‘Smart Electric Sunroof’ and cruise control.

The current Hyundai Creta is available in E, E+, S, S+, SX, SX+, SX+ Dual Tone and SX (O) grades. The basic E and E+ grades don’t include height adjustable driver’s seat. Speed sensing Auto Door Lock is included in only the SX (O) grade. The facelifted Hyundai Creta will feature driver seat height adjustment and speed sensing Auto Door Lock across the range.

The current Hyundai Creta is available with 90 PS 1.4L CRDi diesel, 123 PS 1.6L Dual VTVT petrol and 128 PS 1.6L VGT CRDi diesel engines. The new Hyundai Creta is likely to come with only the 123 PS 1.6L petrol and 128 PS 1.6L diesel engines. It will have notable NVH level improvements.

Getting to the exterior changes, the 2018 Hyundai Creta will feature 'Cascade Design Front Grille’, a signature Hyundai feature also known as the Cascading grille, as well as LED daytime running lights. New bumpers, tweaked tail lamps and the 17-inch alloy wheels from the Hyundai Creta Sport sold in Brazil are expected. The current model’s dual-tone colour choices are white/black and brown/black. An orange/black option will replace the latter in the new model.

The 2018 Hyundai Creta’s pre-bookings have opened unofficially and the word out there is that the deliveries commence in June.
