After a relatively sober growth in March, Bajaj Auto has registered a healthy sales growth of 24% in April, year-to-date (YTD) in the domestic market. The auto major sold 2,00,742 units last month.
The Pune-based brand’s exports have also showed a double-digit growth, at 13%, selling 1,48,875 units. The total motorcycle sales of Bajaj Auto stand at 3,49,617 units, as opposed to 2,93,932 units in the same month, the previous year. The growth percentage stands at 19%. Last month, the brand officially launched the Twin Disc variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 150. However, the bike reached the dealerships March, just before the ABS/CBS deadline in April. Hence, it circumvented the need to have ABS. The brand is reportedly working on BS-VI Pulsar, which is likely to come out in 2019. In the same year, Bajaj will also reportedly launch the Pulsar 125 to woo the budget-conscious enthusiasts.
