A custom Royal Enfield Himalayan has been showcased at the 2018 Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand.
This modified Royal Enfield Himalayan does away with the headlight assembly and comes with a sporty cowl with multi-branded stickers. The motorcycle gets Acerbis hand guards; braced handlebar, and a raised front fender. The seat is a single-piece bench type, and they have removed the tail rack for a cleaner look.

The rear sprocket is bigger than the stock unit, to facilitate better low-end performance. Furthermore, the spoke wheels are shod with knobby tyres for optimum grip off the road. The powertrain appears stock, but the traditional exhaust is replaced with custom Scrambler-like tailpipe. This set-up enhances the bike's water-wading capability even more. In its stock form, the Royal Enfield Himalayan makes 24.5 bhp at 6,500 rpm, and 32 Nm of torque between 4,000-4,500 rpm. The 411 cc single cylinder SOHC mill comes with air and oil cooling and fuel injection. Pairing with the powerplant is a 5-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle rides on a telescopic fork with gaiters at the front; and a rear link-type monoshock. Brakes include 300 mm front and a 240 mm rear disc. The brand launched the Himalayan in the Thailand market in April 2017.
