The bike does away with the rear tyre hugger.

The facelifted model was spotted recently. The bike now gets graphics similar to the Black Pack Edition of the Pulsar 150. The seats are of split type, and the rear features split grab handles. Another major change is the addition of a rear disc brake, which could be borrowed from the 180 cc variant. The Pulsar 180 employs a 230 mm disc at the rear. The front end gets disc brake as usual, and the front fender features a ‘Twin Disc’ sticker.

Commemorating the brand’s achievement of crossing 1 crore global sales, Bajaj launched the Pulsar Black Pack Edition in December, last year.

The 149 cc DTS-i engine is likely to witness a minor bump in output, if at all it does. Currently, it generates 14 PS at 8,000 rpm, and 13.4 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine pairs with a five-speed gearbox. A kick-start lever is missing in the spied motorcycle. Suspension bits include telescopic front fork and twin Nitrox shock absorbers at the rear. The upcoming bike will compete with the new Honda X-Blade, Suzuki Gixxer, and TVS Apache RTR 160.
