The Renault Kwid Outsider was specially designed by Renault Design Latin America for the 2016 edition of the Sao Paulo Motor Show. Renault said that the concept, flaunting versatility and robustness, "is a styling exercise in terms of colours and materials to highlight the best-in-segment driving position, a ground clearance comparable to that of a midsize SUV, and good attack and departure angles."

The Renault Kwid Outsider concept features extra body cladding, silver (faux) skid plates and roof rails to look even more like an SUV. It has funky green exterior accents and orange interior accents to add a dash of sportiness with the tougher styling. Most of the features, if not all, should make it to the production version.
