The Jeep Compass Trailhawk, thanks to off-road suspension, offers more ground clearance than the regular Jeep Compass. It is immediately recognisable with the distinctive styling it gets from features like, Ruby Red recovery hooks, black anti-glare hood decal, Neutral Grey accents, Trail Rated badges and 17-inch Mid-Gloss Black wheels with polished pockets. It has unique fascias with 30-degree approach angle, 24-inch breakover angle and a 34-degree departure angle.

The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is the top-of-the-line Jeep Compass globally. Jeep will offer it in India exclusively with the 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel engine that produces 173 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

One of the main aspects of the Trailhawk grade is its exclusive Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 system, which has a 20:1 crawl ratio and low range. Another exclusive is the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System's additional Rock mode. Fitted with an a rear locking differential, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk can crawl over a rugged terrain in this drive mode. Its wheels are wrapped in 225/60 R17 off-road tyres.
