Just weeks after the 2018 Mercedes C-Class, Mercedes-Benz has revealed the 2018 Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC. The facelifted AMG 43 model will debut in saloon and estate versions at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show this week.

The 2018 Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC takes 4.7 seconds (saloon)/4.8 seconds (estate) for a 0-100 km/h sprint.

The 2018 Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC has a revised exterior, new equipment and improved performance. Beginning with the exterior, the facelifted C 43 4MATIC features an AMG radiator grille with twin louvre in matt iridium silver, powerfully sculpted front apron with additional flics, new 18- or 19-inch AMG wheels, two round twin tailpipe trim elements in high-gloss chrome and a new rear diffuser.

The sporty theme continues inside, with materials such as leather, DINAMICA microfibre and aluminium. The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC’s Performance seats with leather upholstery have a new three-level climate adjustment function too. The various individualisation options now include trim elements in anthracite open-pore oak wood, open-pore walnut plus a longitudinal-gran aluminium (for the doors) and black open-pore ash wood (for the centre console) combination. A new highlight saddle brown/black upholstery option is also available in the new model.

The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC has gained a new 12.3-inch virtual instrument cluster and a new flat-bottomed AMG steering wheel with built-in Touch Control buttons as well. Energizing comfort control is available.

The 3.0-litre biturbo V6 petrol engine under the hood now produces 390 hp and 520 Nm of torque. This means that the maximum power has increased by 23 hp, while the maximum torque has remained the same. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G 9-speed automatic transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC AWD system work together to send drive to the wheels.

In addition to Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual drive modes, there’s a new “Slippery” drive mode available now. The engineers have programmed it for slippery or snow-covered road conditions, and so, it is denoted by a snowflake symbol. Buyers going for the configuration with the COMAND Online infotainment system can opt for AMG Track Pace, a data logger that records data when driving on racetracks.
