Honda may offer the Honda Civic in India with the 1.8-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 1.6-litre i-DTEC turbocharged diesel engine.

The latest development was confirmed by Yoichiro Ueno, President and CEO, Honda Cars India. Speaking to the news publication: Mr. Ueno said: “The Civic will be driven in later this year, and this will be placed over the City sedan.”

In India, Honda is expected to offer the 1.8-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine (141 PS/174 Nm) and the 1.6-litre i-DTEC turbocharged diesel engine (120 PS/300 Nm).

Main features of the 2018 Honda Civic should include LED headlamps with LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, dual-zone automatic climate control, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Apple CarPlay, electric parking brake with brake hold function, power driver’s seat, leather upholstery, multi-angle rearview camera and six airbags.
