Ducati has launched the Euro IV version of the Ducati Diavel Carbon in the country at an ex-showroom, India price of INR 19,73,000.
The Ducati Diavel Carbon uses forged Marchesini wheels that are exclusive to this variant. The paint scheme also features exclusive livery, and the exhaust system gets Zircotec-coated pipes and brushed steel silencer covers.
Coming to the heart of the matter, the Ducati Diavel Carbon employs 1,198.4 cc L-twin engine. It punches out 152.2 PS of power at 9,000 rpm, and 123 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. The engine mates with a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch. Electronic package includes multiple riding modes, power modes, Ducati Traction Control, ABS and Hands-Free.
Suspension bits include fully adjustable 50 mm upside down front fork with DLC treatment. The rear gets a fully-adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage. The power cruiser comes to a halt using dual 320 mm Brembo discs at the front and single 265 mm disc at the back.
The motorcycle tips the scales at 234 kg, kerb. This makes the Diavel Carbon lighter than the standard Diavel by 5 kg. Coming to the pricing, the Carbon variant is INR 3,63,000 more expensive than the Diavel Dark Stealth variant. Interestingly, the new XDiavel S Thrilling Black variant is INR 57,000 cheaper than this motorcycle.
