TVS Apache RR 310 specifications and features leaked - Report

Rushlane reports that the specifications and features of TVS’ upcoming bike, the TVS Apache RR 310 have been leaked. The company will launch the motorcycle based on the Akula 310 concept from the 2016 Auto Expo on December 6, 2017.

The details have been reportedly leaked by an employee of TVS. According to the leaked data, the features are as follows:

  • First ever Indian reverse inclined engine (we’ve seen all forward-inclined engines)
  • Trellis Frame
  • Liquid cooled engine with OWHE (Oil water heat exchanger)
  • DOHC-dual overhead camshaft
  • Fuel injection
  • Power output - 34.2 bhp
  • Kayaba shocks front and rear
  • 15 option speedo
  • Lap timer
  • Top speed timer and notifier
  • Instantaneous fuel consumption
  • Average fuel consumption
  • Fuel range
  • Temperature
  • Gear shift indicator
  • Side stand alarm (you can start but can’t move)
  • Hazard lamps (even if you remove the key) but key should be there to turn on or off
  • Most accurate fuel indicator (72 points, usually 10 in all bikes)
  • Top speed – 165 kmph
  • 0-60 km/h time of 2.63 sec
  • Dual LED projector lamps
  • Two colours – Red & Blue / Black
  • Mileage 25 to 30 kmpl
  • Michelin radial tires
  • 180 mm ground clearance (best in class)
  • Dual channel total control ABS (it has ABL-anti back lift as well as RLP)

The bike is the culmination of TVS' 35 year-experience in the racing industry.

TVS had recently released a teaser for the upcoming motorcycle. The Apache RR 310 employs BMW G 310 R’s engine, and TVS has equipped the bike with top-spec cycle parts like a trellis frame, upside down forks, and petal discs. The TVS Apache RR 310 is expected to be priced under INR 2 lakhs, ex-showroom. It will rival the KTM RC 390 in its price bracket. Expect more details about the bike on the launch day.
