Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 launched in at INR 8.52 lakhs

Ducati India has launched the Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 in the country at an ex-showroom (India) price of INR 8,52,000.

The paint scheme is a result of a collaboration with world famous designer Roland Sands.

The Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 features a unique paint scheme created by renowned Californian designer Roland Sands with colours that evoke the typical West Coast style of the 1970s. The Mach 2.0 also features a low variable cross-section aluminium handlebar, a dedicated Flat Track Pro seat, black exhaust and cylinder head covers, plus Cafe Racer-style brushed cooling fins.

Inspiration for the name of this latest Scrambler version comes from a bike which Ducati launched in 1965, known as Mach 1 250. The Euro 4 803 cc L-twin engine on the Mach 2.0 puts out 73 PS of power at 8,250 rpm and 67 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm. The engine mates with a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. Commenting on the launch, Sergi Canovas Garriga, Managing Director of Ducati India said:

The Ducati Scramblers are the perfect starting point for motorcyclists. It is a contemporary bike that gives the rider pure riding pleasure with the practicality of a modern bike. The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is a very special motorcycle that is a result of our collaboration with Roland and will provide a unique flavour to Scrambler buyers.

A 41 mm upside down Kayaba front fork and an adjustable Kayaba rear monoshock hold the tubular steel trellis frame. Brakes include 330 mm front disc with radial calliper, and a 245 mm rear disc, both with ABS as standard. Fuel tank capacity stands at 14 litres, and the bike tips the scales at 186 kg, wet.

Apart from ABS, the bike is devoid of electronic nannies.

The motorcycle adds to the existing Scrambler line-up; and is available for delivery across all seven Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Kochi. The bike comes with a 24-month unlimited mileage warranty, and a 12,000 km service interval as well.
