Young Machine has digitally rendered three variants of the 2018 Honda CB1000R- standard form, scrambler, and TT café racer version.

The standard bike features red and silver paint job with red accents on the black wheels.

The rendering of the 2018 Honda CB1000RR borrows design cues from the Honda CB150R ExMotion, and the Honda CB4 Concept showcased at the 2015 EICMA. The fuel tank and the tank extensions are similar to the 150cc motorcycle but are larger and more muscular in the litre-class one. The design of the slash-cut exhaust is also identical, but the bigger bike gets stubby twin units. The bike also gets an engine cowl with angular cuts. The swingarm continues to be single sided, but the alloy wheels are ten-spoke units. The tailpiece is also akin to the ExMotion, but the license plate holder with tyre hugger is on the swingarm.

The scrambler version comes with raised handlebars, spoke wheels shod with rugged tyres. The bike also gets headlight grille and handlebar guards. The twin exhaust gets a black finish, and the front fender seems to be a two-piece unit. The café racer variant of the motorcycle features an aerodynamic headlight cowl with windshield, which seamlessly integrates with the tank extensions. The front upside down fork gets a gold finish, and the rear monoshock is yellow. There’s a carbon fibre pillion cowl, and the pillion footpegs have been given a miss.

The 2018 Honda CB1000R was rumoured to debut at the 2017 EICMA show in November. Expect more details at the show. At the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show next month, the Honda CB1100 RS Custom Concept will make its Japanese Premiere.
