The front fascia features sees the bulk of the changes. The mid-cycle action will also see the SUV gain power and an automatic transmission.

The front fascia features a slightly redesigned grille with bolder chrome inserts and a new bumper with vertical slats in the radiator grille. Top-end models will ride on 16-inch alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design similar to the current version. The rear-end of both vehicles hasn't been snapped, but expect small changes like bumper restyling, revised taillamps and repositioned badges.

The interior design is likely to be identical to the current Scorpio, but expect an updated colour theme, upholstery and trim, as well as a newer 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, EcoSense and Connected Apps picked from the 2017 Mahindra XUV500. Expect a set of jump seats for the third row as well.
