The Mahindra Gusto 125 has been showcased at the 2017 NADA Auto show in Nepal. Agni Moto Inc., the authorised distributor of Mahindra two wheelers, has set up the stall.
The Mahindra Gusto 125 employs a 124.6cc single cylinder M-TEC engine. It puts out 8.5 bhp of power at 7,000 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine couples to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
The scooter gets telescopic forks at the front and a coil-type hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. Brakes include 130 mm drum units on both front and rear. The 12-inch steel wheels are shod with 90 section tubeless tyres on both ends. The fuel tank capacity stands at 6 litres.
Among the unique features of this scooter is the height adjustable seat. The two-level seat can be adjusted from 770 mm to 735 mm. The Gusto 125 comes with a unique remote flip key with LED light as well.
One can find the scooter in a parking lot by using the key, which triggers the scooter’s indicators. The scooter’s pilot lamp also stays on for a short time after the ignition is turned off, to help the rider step away safely at night.
