Bajaj's new distributor in Central America displays line-up at local trade show

UMA Group, the authorised dealer for Bajaj in the Central American markets of Guatemala and Nicaragua has displayed Bajaj products at the local trade show in Managua, Nicaragua. Among the motorcycles showcased were the Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS, Pulsar NS 200, Pulsar RS 200 and the flagship motorcycle- the Dominar 400.

The distributor is offering incentives to those booking the bikes at the trade show.

Speaking to the local media, Country Manager of the UMA Group, Alvaro Quintanilla said that their participation in the expo will entice prospective customers to consider the Indian brand. The Group is also offering discounts like full-tank fuel coupons and the exemption of VAT.

The Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS uses a 134.66cc air-cooled DTS-i engine which is good for 13.05 bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and 11.04 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The Dominar 400 uses a KTM 390 Duke-derived 373.3cc liquid cooled triple-spark engine which punches out 35 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

The Pulsar NS 200 gives out 23.52 bhp of power at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm from its 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine, while the Pulsar RS 200 outputs 24.05 bhp of power at 9,750 rpm and 18.06 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm from its 199.5cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected heart.
