An imminent launch is likely.

A Mahindra Jeeto passenger van was spied undisguised for the first time by GaadiWaadi in Kerala besides its closest rival - the Tata Magic Iris. It is likely that the market launch will be conducted in a few weeks as this model could either be at the dealer for training purpose or is a display unit.

The market launch could be held in a few weeks given that the vehicle was spotted at a dealership.

The spy shots give a first proper look at the passenger application of the Jeeto, LCV which slots below the Mahindra Supro van. As seen in older spy shots and the rendering, the Jeeto van will have tarpaulin covers with plastic see-through windows for the second-row and rear-end. Oddly, the tailgate folds down for access. For reference, the Supro's hatch opens sideways, whereas the Tata Magic Iris has a fixed tailgate.

As expected, the front fascia looks fairly identical to the Mahindra Jeeto pick up, featuring bug-eyed headlamps flowing into a toothed-grille and black plastic bumper. The posterior has round high-mounted tail lamps like the old Chevrolet Spark and black plastic bumper with reflectors.

The Mahindra Jeeto van has a seating capacity for five (including the driver) and has a bare bones interior with a 12V power socket located near the driver, as well as a multi-info display located in the instrument cluster. It could also come equipped with the ‘Digisense’ connected vehicle platform.

The Jeeto van has a seating capacity of five people and will compete with the Tata Magic Iris in the last-mile connectivity segment.

Powering the van variant is the Jeeto pick up’s single-cylinder water-cooled m_Dura 625 cc engine diesel paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, which produces 16 hp and 38 Nm of torque. We are not sure if a CNG variant will also be made available for the Jeeto van, but it could be considered for lower running costs and a cleaner footprint.
