Official unveiling to take place this Monday.

The 2017 Citroen C3 Aircross has leaked in a 1/43 scale model from French brand Norev. The new C3 Aircross' formal unveiling is programmed on 12 June 2017.

The scale model, after the undisguised spy shots that surfaced last month, shows how Citroen has redesigned the C3 Aircross from the ground up.

The second generation Citroen C3 Aircross is derived from the Citroen C-Aircross Concept introduced at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March. The production version has slightly different bumpers, light graphics and air bumps, conventional door panels, ORVMs and greenhouse and a less vibrant colour scheme.

The interior appears to have a beige-black theme, but apart from vertical side air vents, not much is visible. Up top, there's a dual-pane sunroof for fresh air and more sunlight.

The all-new Citroen C3 Aircross is based on the same platform as the Opel Crossland X and may have the same engines and transmissions as the 2017 Citroen C3. The small hatchback is available with 50 kW (67.02 hp) 1.2-litre PureTech 68, 60 kW (80.43 hp) 1.2-litre PureTech 82 and 81 kW (108.58 hp) 1.2-litre PureTech 110 three-cylinder petrol engines, 60 kW (80.43 hp) 1.2-litre PureTech 82 three-cylinder petrol-LPG engine and 55 kW (73.73 hp) 1.2-litre BlueHDi and 73 kW (97.86 hp) 1.2-litre BlueHDi four-cylinder diesel engine. The petrol model is available with 5-speed manual and 6-speed EAT6 automatic transmission choices, while the diesel model gets a 5-speed manual transmission standard.
