Update: The first product of the MV Agusta RVS special operations division is a premium take on the MV Agusta Dragster 800. The motorcycle gets new adaptive LED headlamp with LED spotlights on the right side. It also gets several titanium components like upper triple clamp plate, footrest support protection, front brake and clutch lever protectors and inserts for the fuel tank.

MV Agusta has also added carbon fibre components to the motorcycle with rear swingarm protection cover, rear mudguard, upper and lower chain guard, front mudguard and fuel tank protection cover. The bike also gets an SC-Project exhaust with special mapping for the power unit.

Availability of the hybrid café racer-scrambler, the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RVS #1 has not been revealed yet. Pricing details too have been kept under wraps.

Italian motorcycle maker MV Agusta has released a new teaser video which ends with a silhouette of a motorcycle resembling the MV Agusta Dragster 800. The bike showcased also gets dual-purpose tyres, hinting the possibility of a Scrambler.

The video also teases the alphabets RVS which is an acronym for ‘Reparto Veicoli Speciali’, loosely translating to Special Vehicle Department. While details remain sketchy at the moment, a limited edition of the MV Agusta Dragster 800 as a scrambler cannot be ruled out.

The manufacturer had earlier announced that the company will be focusing on limited edition motorcycles with smaller runs. This will allow the company to charge a premium for their bikes, helping them register a profit, a column that has not had entries for several years.
