BMW Motorrad has not officially confirmed the variants.

The BMW G310R is the most affordable BMW motorcycle and is expected to be launched in India later this year. Italian automotive designer O.Bezzi has toyed with his creativity and rendered a scrambler (BMW G310GS Classic Concept), café racer (BMW G310 Classic Racer Concept) and an all-out faired sports motorcycle (BMW HP1 Sport Concept) based on the German single cylinder motorcycle. Note that these are unofficial renders.

The BMW G310GS Classic concept has been rendered with an upswept exhaust, knobby off-road centric tyres, a redesigned fuel tank and possibly an increased ground clearance. The spoke wheels add to the off-roader image and the front fender has been raised. The front suspension may get increased travel if the bike ever becomes a reality, and may gain design inspiration from the BMW R nine T Scrambler.

The artist rendered café racer, which he calls BMW G310 Classic Racer Concept, is another take on the German roadster. The headlamp has been given a new cowl while the radiator guard has been extended to be a part of the tank extension. The traditional café racer imagery has been completed with a cowl on the pillion seat. The fuel tank has also been given grips which will help the rider lock the knees.

The sportiest of the three renders, the BMW HP1 Concept, gets a full fairing and traces its origins to the BMW HP4 Race unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2017 in April 2017. The fairing though misses out on the gill slits seen in the BMW S1000RR and HP4 Race. The rendered motorcycle is also showcased with a clip-on handlebar.

The BMW G310R naked roadster and its adventure tourer version, the BMW G 310GS, is powered by a 313 cc liquid-cooled, four-valve, DOHC, single cylinder mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 34 PS of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm.
