HMIL launched the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 in February and is currently working on the 2017 Hyundai Xcent. According to a report from CarDekho, Hyundai will launch the facelifted Hyundai Xcent this month.

The facelift should bring changes to the Hyundai Xcent similar to those of the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10. Visual changes expected include new bumpers with LED daytime running lights, Cascading grille, new alloy wheels/wheel covers, revised boot lid and large wraparound tail lamps.

The 2017 Hyundai Xcent may not get extensive changes on the inside. The facelift could bring a new colour theme with new trim and upholstery. A 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink is expected to replace the current multimedia system. The new model will likely have voice recognition with a dedicated voice recognition button on the steering wheel. For lower grades, Hyundai may have planned a 5.0-inch touchscreen audio system.

The 2017 Hyundai Xcent would continue with the 1.2-litre Kappa four-cylinder petrol engine, but the pre-facelift model's 1.1-litre CRDi three-cylinder diesel engine would get discontinued in favour of the new 1.2-litre U2 CRDi three-cylinder diesel engine. The new diesel engine produces 75 PS at 4,000 rpm and 19.4 kgm (190.25 Nm) of torque at 1,750-2,250 in the Grand i10.
