The Jaguar i-Pace was unveiled first in November 2016.

The 87th Geneva Motor Show marked the European auto show debut of the Jaguar i-Pace, the first electric vehicle by the brand. The Jaguar i-Pace also gains a new Photon Red paint scheme.

The Jaguar i-Pace is aimed to provide a five-seater sports car and a performance SUV amalgamated in one. It will be positioned against the likes of the Tesla Model X  and future electric crossovers like the Audi Q6 and Mercedes EQ electric SUV. The Jaguar i-Pace’s production version shall follow the design philosophy of the F-Pace.

The Jaguar i-Pace concept gets two 150 kW electric motors on both the axles which are connected to a liquid cooled 90 kW/h lithium-ion battery located below the cabin. Jaguar claims a range of 220 miles (354 km). That’s not all. The battery can be charged up to 80 percent in 90 minutes with 50 kW DC charging station.

The total output stands at 400 PS of power and an instant 700 Nm of torque, all this with absolutely zero tailpipe emission. The interiors get premium materials highlighting British craftsmanship. The Jaguar i-Pace boasts of two super intuitive touchscreen driver information system.

The Jaguar i-Pace is expected to be revealed in its production guise towards the end of 2017 while deliveries will begin only in 2018.
