2017 Bajaj Discover 125 BSIV reaches dealership [Images Updated]

The entire Bajaj motorcycle range is BSIV compliant.

Bajaj Auto has silently updated the price of the 2017 Bajaj Discover 125 BSIV edition. The sole Discover brand name bearing motorcycle in the Bajaj line-up gets a bump of INR 1,464 on the top end trim. The bikes have started reaching dealerships in the national capital.

Bajaj Discover 125 is now BSIV compliant and costs INR 50,559 for the drum brake variant and INR 52,559 for the disc brake trim (both ex-Delhi).

The Bajaj Discover 125 gets features like alloy wheels, 35 watt DC headlamp and a single 200 mm disc brake in the front. The bike is suspended over standard telescopic forks up front and twin shocks in the rear. The fuel efficiency claim of 82.4 km/l remains the same. Colour options include Ebony Black with Deep Red graphics, Ebony Black with Deep Blue graphics, Electron Blue and Flame Red.

Powering the Bajaj Discover is the 124.6 cc 2 valve, single cylinder, DTS-i mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 11 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine can be cranked up with a kick starter as well as an electric starter. The top speed is a claimed 100 km/h.

The bike tips the scales at 120.5 kg, has a ground clearance of 165 mm and has a seat height of 800 mm. The Bajaj Discover 125 measures 2,035 mm in length, 760 mm in width and 1,087 mm in height.

The Bajaj Discover 125 BSIV is powered by a 124.6 cc mill which is capable of producing 11 PS of maximum power and 10.8 Nm of peak torque.

The 2017 Bajaj Discover 125 BSIV version is priced at INR 50,559 for the base variant and INR 52,559 for the top end trim.
