As much as the front, the rear of the Hyundai Xcent will also be revised with the facelift. The front-end is expected to have changes similar to that of the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10, including new Cascading grille and redesigned fog lamps with LED daytime running light strips, while the changes to the profile will include new design alloy wheel/wheel cover.

At the rear, the most notable change will be the wraparound tail lamps that give the car the styling of a proper sedan. The 2017 Hyundai Xcent will feature a redesigned boot lid with chrome applique and spoiler, and a revised rear bumper. On the inside, the car would gain a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink for smartphone integration, and voice control with a dedicated button for that function on the steering wheel.
