Like the 2017 Hyundai i30 hatchback, the 2017 Hyundai i30 Wagon should be offered with 1.4-litre petrol, 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol, 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol and 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engines.

The 2017 Hyundai i30 Wagon gets a tapering roofline and dynamic proportions for an almost coupe-like silhouette. Integrated roof rails add more to the character and give a unique look to the wagon version. The hatchback version has grown in length and width, and is lower compared to the second generation model, and the same can be expected from the wagon version. The current i30 Wagon measures 4,485 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width and 1,500 mm in height. With the increased length and width, the boot space may increase from the current 1,642 litres.

The 2017 Hyundai i30 Wagon's engine options should be the same as that of the 2017 Hyundai i30 hatchback. In Germany, the new generation model is offered with a 74 kW (100 PS) 1.4-litre petrol, 88 kW (120 PS) 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol, 103 kW (140 PS) 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol and 70 kW (95 PS)/81 kW (110 PS)/100 kW (136 PS) 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine options. Similarly, transmission choices would include a 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
