To launch in the first half of 2017.

The 2017 Chevrolet Beat was spied testing on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway by IAB reader Sheriyar Shaikh. The model spied features a full-body camouflage, hiding the final design already revealed by Chevrolet.

For the new Beat, Chevrolet India sought inspiration from the fourth generation Chevrolet Spark as seen in the front fascia. The profile remains largely unchanged, while the rear-end gets a re-designed tailgate, new taillamp graphics and horizontal reflectors. The door handle of the model spied is finished in a bright orange colour, a new option for the 2017 Beat.

Inside, the 2017 Chevrolet Beat will feature a two-tone interior contrasted by a matte silver centre console and chrome garnish around the HVAC vents. Range-topping LTZ variants will come equipped with a Chevrolet MyLink2 infotainment system offering GPS-guided navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The new Beat will also spawn a crossover variant called the Chevrolet Beat Activ, and a sub-4m sedan version called the Chevrolet Beat Essentia.
