The Bajaj Pulsar 150NS uses the same engine as the Bajaj Pulsar AS150.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150NS is being exported to Bajaj's international market since late 2015. Colombia was the first market to have the Pulsar 150NS on sale. Other markets include Peru, Equador, Finland, Mexico Sri Lanka, et al. Designed and styled after the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, the Pulsar 150NS has been showcased in a new promotional video.

Bajaj is trying to flaunt the agility of the bike by comparing it with a gymnast. The Bajaj Pulsar 150NS houses a 149.5 cc air cooled 4 valve, twin spark engine coupled to a 5 speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 17 PS of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 13 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm.

The naked streetfighter motorcycle features LED taillamps and backlit switchgear. The underbelly exhaust follows the design of the Pulsar 200NS, but unlike the bigger sibling, the Bajaj Pulsar 150NS has a drum brake at the rear. Apart from these, it gets split seats, nitrox based mono shock absorber in the rear and a projector headlamp (low beam).

The Bajaj Pulsar 150NS however, is unlikely to go on sale in India. The lack of success of newer Pulsar models is one of the key reasons behind this. Bajaj has already got the standard Pulsar 150 ready for 2017 (as spotted in a video).

Bajaj Pulsar 150NS follows the design philosophy of the Pulsar 200NS and gets a 149.5 cc mill producing 17 PS of maximum power and 13 Nm of peak torque.

Bajaj, however, can pull up a fast one by bringing in the Pulsar 150NS as a premium 150cc motorcycle offering, placing it against rivals like the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-S, and TVS Apache 160 RTR.
