The claimed top speed is 148 km/h while a speedo indicated figure has been recorded at 167 km/h.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is Bajaj’s most powerful and biggest bike yet. A recent YouTube video by a user Hari Rajan reveals that the motorcycle has a speedometer indicated top speed of 167 km/h.

The 373.3 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected, triple spark DTS-i mill on the Dominar is coupled with a 6 speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 35 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The power output has been reduced from the KTM Duke 390 to add a relaxed cruising experience and also to improve fuel economy.

Bajaj claims that the Bajaj Dominar 400 can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.23 seconds. The company claimed top speed, however, stands at 148 km/h. Thanks to the large 320 mm single disc up front and 230 mm single disc in the rear, along with twin channel ABS, the bike can deaccelerate from 100 km/h to 0 in 46.19 m.
