Limited edition Suzuki Ignis iUNIQUE announced for Italy

The Suzuki Ignis iUNIQUE limited edition has landed in Italy for a price of €16,900. The special edition Suzuki Ignis is available only at the company's online shop and is limited to 100 copies. It will be delivered before the official launch of the standard Ignis which is expected in January 2017.

The Suzuki Ignis iUNIQUE can be ordered in either Bianco ARTICO BiColor or Azzurro MALDIVE BiColor dual-tone colour scheme.

The Suzuki Ignis iUNIQUE is distinguished with a special exterior and interior. It can be ordered in two dual-tone colour schemes - Bianco ARTICO BiColor and Azzurro MALDIVE BiColor. The limited edition Ignis features exterior and interior detailing nearly identical to that of the Suzuki Ignis Trail Concept showcased at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Orange accents on various exterior and interior elements form the key styling of this model.

The Suzuki Ignis iUNIQUE features LED headlights, black front grille with orange details, fog lights with orange frames, black roof, silver roof rails, full-length orange stripe on the sides, orange door mirrors, 16-inch black alloy wheels and orange stripes accentuating the C-pillar slots on the outside. Inside, along with the orange door handles and centre tunnel panel, the HVAC vents have orange detailing.

Key features of the Ignis iUNIQUE are, automatic headlights, cruise control, heated front seats, automatic climate control, touchscreen navigation system with 3D maps, reversing camera and heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors.

The Suzuki Ignis iUNIQUE is powered by the 1.2-litre DUALJET engine with SHVS.

The Suzuki Ignis iUNIQUE is powered by the 1.2-litre DUALJET engine with SHVS. The four-cylinder engine produces 66 kW (90 CV/88.47 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. There's a 12-volt lithium-ion battery to run the electric motor which develops 2.3 kW (3CV/3.08 hp) and 50 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and distributed between them via the ALLGRIP four-wheel drive system.

MSIL will launch the Maruti Ignis in India in early 2017.
