Reportedly under consideration for India.

The Suzuki Swift Sport test mule is differentiated from the regular Swift with a lower ride height, dual exhaust tips and roof spoiler. Leaked images of the next gen Suzuki Swift Sport have already revealed elements covered by cammo wrapping in this prototype, which include gaping mesh grille with aggressively-styled airdams, side skirts, faux diffuser and revised headlamps with LED DRLs.

A likely engine to power the next gen Swift Sport is the Suzuki Vitara S's 1.4L Boosterjet four cylinder petrol engine, which produces 103 kW (138.07 hp) and 220 Nm of torque on the crossover. It will be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and come equipped with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP AWD system.

Local reports suggest that Maruti is considering a launch in India, which could help improve the Swift's brand image as an enthusiastic and exciting product in their lineup. Maruti could make several changes to the Sport variant, one of which could be swapping the 1.4L for the 1.0L engine, which goes into the Maruti Baleno RS.
