India-made Bajaj Avenger 220 series launched in Argentina
Sagar Parikh, I'm the international news editor at IndianAutosBlog.com. I love everything that has a steering wheel!
Available in Street and Cruise variants
The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 features a matte black colour scheme, alloy wheels (front – 17-inch, rear – 15-inch) and a short handlebar for easy maneuverability in the city. The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 features exclusive Divine Black colour scheme, spoke wheels (front – 17-inch, rear – 15-inch), a taller handlebar, chrome mirrors and cushioned backrest for the pillion. As its variant name prompts, it is made for long-distance cruising.
The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 and Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 are powered by the 220 cc DTS-i oil-cooled engine that produces 19.03 hp at 8,400 rpm. The single-cylinder engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission and stopping power comes from a 260 mm disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear.
The Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is priced at 45,900 pesos (INR 1,59,205.70), while the more premium Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is priced at 51,500 pesos (INR 1,78,629.49).
