The Suzuki Gixxer 250 should have cues borrowed from the Suzuki GSX-R1000 and other Gixxer series motorcycles.

The design of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 seen in the spyshots matches with what was seen in the leaked patent images.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 should have the same 248 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine as the Suzuki Inazuma 250, which produces 18 kW (24 hp) at 8,500 rpm and 22 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm and is mated to a 6-speed transmission in the latter.

Mr. Suresh Babu Janarthanan, Project Leader for CBU Products at Suzuki Motorcycle India, reportedly said that the company will bring it to India “when the time is right”.
